Rocktober--A History through Pictures

October 6, 2006: Colorado Rockies vs Philadelphia Phillies GAME 3
Picture #1: The whole family goes to the game. Carson is introduced to Coors Field for the first time.
Picture #2: We tailgated before the game--I mean come on!! This is only the biggest game in Rockies History!!
Picture #3: Carson and I listened to the CU football game on the radio before going into the stadium.
Picture #4: You know times have CHANGED when there is a BABY BOTTLE in the drink cup holder!! :)
Picture #5: At the end of the 1st Inning, all of the stadium lights just shut off. At first I thought we were going to see some fireworks, and then I remembered that the game had just started. It took 15 minutes for the lights to turn back on. I wonder if someone said "hey, watch this" and just flipped a switch...it was cool at any rate!

Picture #6: You had to know that this bottle would get used with the way Carson eats! Mike was very good at multi-tasking!

Picture #7: In the 8th Inning, it became apparent that we were going to win this game--and all the brooms came out to show the SWEEP! It was one of the best sporting events I have ever attended. It was electric!
Picture #8: Rockies win and dogpile on the field!!! We are hugging and hi-fiving everyone around us. The stadium is SO loud that I was sure Carson would wake up...but he didn't :)

Picture #9: Some dejected Phillies Fans hee hee
Picture #10: We are in celebration mode!
Picture #11: Chad, Crystal, and Darren celebrate as well. Nice pants, Chad!

Picture #12: Big John (Uncle Lester??) and I celebrate our Rockies spirit

What a game--we were so glad to be a part of it. Carson won't remember that his first Rockies game was on their way to the World Series...but we will :).

Looks like an awesome game. Did you happen to catch the cowboys game last night? holy cow....so amazing. I love a good football game. And is it possible that little Carson could look any more like his daddy?! Wow! Cute kiddo.
