Thanksgiving in Sacramento

We spent Thanksgiving at Darren, Cherish, and Eden's house in Sacramento. This was our first time in Sacramento, and we really enjoyed it!
Grandma and Grandpa joined us, along with Ryan, Jess, & kids from Texas (San Diego, actually). We drove around a place called Apple Hill, and toured some really neat little stores and farms. It is beautiful country! We stopped at a fishing pond and had some cider and a few treats. Here, Darren and Eden are studying a bear with Carson and Grandpa--who is hiding back there...
Trust me, something was really funny!

Carson got to play with his cousin Eden, and they took a bath for some more adventures. It was hilarious to watch and they had a lot of fun! Carson looks a little scared in this picture, but he really wasn't. :)
There are all kinds of neat little parks around Darren and Cherish's house in Elk Grove. We made good use of time touring the playgrounds!
Carson loves spending time with Grandpa. Usually he doesn't like to swing that much, but Grandpa changed his mind this time :)
Man, this playground equipment is sure fun!
There were some dinosaurs to climb on so Carson and I took full advantage of this--
Grandma has Eden and Carson's full attention during storytime...
Mom and Dad took a moment to Tango through the family room, and I was lucky enough to immortalize this moment on film, and now the internet. :)
When Ryan, Jess, Josh, Delaney, Sadie, and Ava arrived, the party got even better! Here, Carson is enjoying some good play time with Delaney and Ava.
Uncle Ryan cracked Carson up a lot even though this picture doesn't show it...
Thanksgiving Day--all dressed up for the big meal. Cherish and Darren hosted 26 people for dinner, and it was wonderful. This is one of my favorite pictures of the trip :)
Eden and Carson played and played together. They are so cute!
I would like to know what they are talking about/plotting right about now...
Darren, Cherish, and Eden at Dinner:
They actually rented tables so everyone could sit together, and I took this picture of Ryan, Jess, and Josh sitting at the very end of the table!
Just hanging out after dinner--Grandma and Carson at play
Of course PLAY includes the Wii, but no one expected that Josh would bowl a 300 game. He had every right to be very proud!!
Another big entertainment hit emerged at Thanksgiving on You-Tube. Carson has a fascination with Lawnmowers, and Grandpa found a "Flying Lawnmower" video that was an instant favorite. Carson asked for the "Mawnmo" about 50 times after this! Note: don't think for a minute that the others shown in this picture were not fascinated with the flying lawnmower video as well... hee hee That means you, Grandpa!!! :)
We had a great trip--we visited the IKEA store for the first time and most importantly got to hang out with precious family. :) Thanks for the wonderful hospitality, Darren and Cherish!
