Carson's Baptism--What a special day!

On August 2nd, Carson was baptized at St. Mark Catholic Church by his Uncle Bryan. We had the church to ourselves, and it was a wonderful experience!

Bryan flew in from Alabama for the weekend just for the baptism. It was really an AMAZING opportunity for Carson to be baptized by his uncle.

We orchestrated this event so it coincided with Dawn and Jere's summer visit to Colorado from Cleveland. Dawn and Jere are Carson's Godparents, and it was great that they could actually participate in the baptism and be a part of it all. :)

After the baptism, we hosted a celebration at the house for everyone. The weather was great, and we had a lot of fun!

We catered DELI ZONE for food, and of course we had cupcakes :)

Carson just adores Ryan! They were so funny jumping and running around--Carson looks up to him so much, and they play SO WELL together. SO cute!!

The kids had a great time playing outside and in the basement. Maryn, Ryan, and Carson loved being in the helicopter ball pit. Carson and Ryan ran EVERYWHERE!!

When Bryan was in town for the weekend, we also played Texas Hold 'Em poker one night, and spent a fair amount of time playing "Rockband" Guitar Hero. Our family band is actually pretty good at this point. Carson even had a couple of stints on the drums :)

This was a wonderful day :)
