I was so nervous on the first day. I didn't know how I would handle it if Carson was screaming for me as I left, etc..
I won't lie--it was hard that first day to leave him. When I came to pick him up, his wonderful teachers told me that he cried for about 10 minutes, and they pulled up a little chair for him to sit in next to the door. He spent another 10 minutes in the chair, and then a little boy pulled up another chair next to Carson and asked him if he wanted to play. After that, Carson was enthusiastic and into everything--except YOGA. :)The Goddard School is excellent! Carson has already moved up to the 2 1/2 year old "Crickets". He can count from 1-10 in Spanish, and he sings a lot more songs now! He is interested in potty training a bit...and he loves playdough. They have a rock climbing wall that is his favorite past time in the Rec room.
I am really glad that we decided to pull the trigger and get him into school for a couple of days each week. It has been 6 weeks now, and Carson is SO excited to go to school every Wednesday and Friday!
