Things to do in the Colorado Winter

If you are Kava, then this is what you do in the Colorado Winter:
We have GOT to get this puppy outside and running more! He is so cuddly and the best dog in the world, but man--the weather needs to clear up and we need to get back out to the Dog Park!

While there is snow on the ground (and there was no break of snow on the ground from mid-October through the end of February), sledding is always a good way to pass the time during the Winter months. In fact, it is Carson's FAVORITE way to pass the time!! He can't get enough.
There is a perfect hill that is just down the street and right across from our friend Bob's house. This is convenient; hot chocolate and a bathroom are close by. Bob's hot tub is pretty cool as well! :) As you can see in the picture, there are spots of visible grass on this hill, but with our inner tube sleds it is no problem to zoom right over them!
Carson sleds down by himself and likes to bail off at the end. Where DOES this child get his dare devil streak?? heh heh heh. We are lucky to have such a perfect location so close to home, but we plan to use the sledding hill in Winter Park next year as well...
For the record--Kava comes with us when we go sledding, so at least he gets some exercise racing us down the hill :).
