Bath Time and a Visit from the Thompsons

Well, there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day now that I am working again. We have settled into a routine that works nicely, but I go to bed at 10:00 p.m. and still don't get everything done! Here are some pictures of Carson's bath time--he is starting to really move around now, and one of his favorite things to do is kick his legs like crazy in the bath tub. He also makes these little high-pitched squeals now that are cute. He has found his toes, and he is constantly trying to put them in his mouth. He still clasps his little hands together like he is meditating or something :). Of course Grandpa taught him how to do raspberries (spit) which we can't help laughing at...

When he laughs really hard, his shoulders bounce up and down, and sometimes he just grabs my face with both of his hands and stares at me. Already--such good memories!! He is such a great kid!
Here is the first of many bath tub-Mohawks that this kid will have...
Last weekend, our dear friends Byron and Cindy came over for a visit with our god-children Ethan and Hannah. We exchanged Christmas gifts (a little late) and they brought Carson a huge present with lots of clothes, a quilt, and best of all quite a few BOOKS! Cindy is a librarian at a Longmont middle school, so she knows a lot about the best books out there.
Here is Hannah (could she be any cuter??) striking a pose for me in her lace-up boots...
Of course Byron and I got sidetracked for awhile with our Ipods...he has the 160 gb model, and this cool little plug in adapter that plays what is on your Ipod on TV. I've got to get me one of those!!! We talked music and Itunes, and tried to share some TV shows--which of course Itunes doesn't allow. It has only been a little over a month since I got my Ipod for Christmas, and I already dislike Itunes a lot. I am figuring out ways to get around Itunes, though...I am pretty good with computer stuff when I am motivated! :)
Ethan and Hannah read Carson some books that they gave him. SO cute! He really pays attention when people read to him. Our favorite books right now are: "Where is Spot?", "The Ticklemonsters", "Tails", and of course "Guess How Much I Love You" which we read to him every night before he goes to bed.
Things are going well for us, just pretty busy. I am taking a class on School Law right now on Wednesday nights. It is interesting, but the Professor keeps us until 9:30 every week. :( Enough said.
I am currently planning TWO Bridal Showers for 2 of my close friends that are getting married soon (one in March, one in June). I am also still scorekeeping for Crystal's basketball games whenever I can--I bring Carson to the games and there is ALWAYS someone who wants to watch him!
My Superbowl prediction? Patriots 24, Giants 10. Although I would sure like to see it the other way around...
Peace out!

Great photographs, thanks for sharing them. I can just see Grandpa Bill teaching the raspberry. Must talk to him about that. Great to see Bryon, please say hi to him from Marilyn and John

And thanks for taking the time to create such a great websit.
