Goodbye Fluffy and Friends

After 6 years, we decided to part ways with our large Cichlid fish and our foot-long Plycostimus named Fluffy. We raised these fish from small little babies into gigantic fish that barely fit in our 55 gallon tank. Sadly, we just got kind of bored feeding them meat everyday and watching Fluffy freak out every once in a while. So we said our goodbyes and donated these fish to a local fish store.
Then we had to figure out what we DID want in the tank now that we no longer had mean fish that would eat any new fish for dinner and knock over all the cool rocks and plants that we put in the tank. We could even have some BUBBLES if we want to!!!

So that is exactly what we did. We have 16 new little fish and a brand new bubbler. We even have guppies!!
Eventually, we will have 40-50 fish in the tank, but right now we are having a good time watching our new harmless little fish swim around. Carson absolutely loves it.
It was hard to part with Fluffy, but it is a new adventure with our fishtank that is very FUN. :)
