I just love the Olympics--but last night I must tell you that I was jumping up and down in front of the TV like I just won a million dollars. I was so excited that I almost woke up Carson! It isn't everyday that you see a sports scenario play itself out like the Men's 4 X 100 freestyle relay did yesterday, and it totally reminded me of the addictive drug that is called playing sports and WINNING.
It also reinforced for me why it is important to be a graceful and humble competitor, because losing isn't fun--and it is worse when you talk trash about winning and then get out-touched at the wall when you are the heavy favorite.
Poor France. :)

I thought there was absolutely no way that Lezak was going to make up time on that French swimmer...when he beat him, I WENT CRAZY!!!!!!

Now THIS is an Olympic Moment for the ages, and I will not forget that the seemingly impossible NEVER truly is. :)
