My Summer Reading Surprise

When we went on our trip to Florida, I wanted to find a good book that I could read while lounging around by the pool or ocean--or read when Carson was taking a nap. I picked up the book "Twilight" because I have always been pretty partial to a good vampire story, and man I didn't know what I was in for!!

Twilight is the first book of a 4 book series by first-time author Stephanie Meyer. I read this book in 3 days, and then went out looking for the sequels that were available. I read "New Moon" and "Eclipse" before we got home from vacation, and I am nearly finished with the 4th book "Breaking Dawn".
I am completely hooked. AND--"Twilight" the movie comes out in December, so I am even more excited!!

Stephenie Meyer was a stay-at-home mom who had a dream that turned into a chapter in her book. Now she has toppled Harry Potter off the best seller list and has an insane following online.
